Michael Murphy, MD, PhD
Chief Medical and Scientific Officer

Dr. Murphy’s professional career has spanned 25 years and his positions within the pharmaceutical industry emphasize the integration of medical and scientific acumen with operational excellence. He is board-certified in psychiatry and has a doctorate in pharmacology, with training at Tulane University, Stanford University and the Mt. Sinai School of Medicine.

His supervisory responsibilities as Chief Medical & Scientific Officer at WCT are international in scope and include the design and implementation of protocol feasibility assessments, protocol development for phases I–IV including non-interventional research, the provision of medical monitoring and drug safety services, medical writing, and coordination of rater certification and surveillance activities for clinical trial assessments.
Henry J. Riordan, PhD
Executive Vice President, Medical and Scientific Affairs

Dr. Riordan has been involved in the assessment, treatment and investigation of various CNS disorders in both industry and academia for the past 20 years. He has been the primary author of more than 50 protocols in various neurologic, psychiatric and analgesic indications, across all phases of development. He has been involved in several clinical development programs and has participated in numerous advisory boards and regulatory interactions.

Dr. Riordan was a member of the original WCT management team beginning in 1998. He has also spent several years in the departments of psychiatry and neurology at Thomas Jefferson, Dartmouth, and University of Pennsylvania Medical Schools where he acquired advanced training in neuroimaging, assessment procedures and experimental design in a variety of CNS patient populations.
David Bowser, M.B.A.
EVP & General Manager, Global Clinical Development

Dave brings more than 20 years of pharmaceutical industry and project management leadership to his role at Worldwide. In his most recent position as Senior Vice President Global Professional Services at BioClinica, he had P&L responsibility for developing and growing key customer relationships. Before joining BioClinica, Dave spent more than a decade at Johnson & Johnson (J&J) in a series of senior business development, research & development, and operations management roles, including Vice President of Global Medical Safety and Vice President of Corporate Technology. Prior to joining J&J, Dave led Global Project Management at Pfizer. While at Pfizer, he led Central Nervous System project management teams in the development and implementation of drug development plans and strategies for pre-clinical through Phase III studies.
